Congratulations to the Next Generation of Nurses

June 2014 marked the ten-year anniversary of the Los Angeles City College Registered Nursing Program. In all, 16 cohorts of students have graduated — adding 423 registered nurses to the health care community!

In celebration of its ten-year anniversary, the program has created A Nurse’s Mission, its first alumni-to-student scholarship program with funds donated from Frances Rice-Farrand, LACC educator, and Camille Diaz, 2004 Class President.

Nursing professionals make a difference in the lives of patients every day. Now you have the ability to support the next generation of LACC nurses! Your tax-deductible gift of $25, $35, $50 or more can make a difference in the lives of students who are struggling to pay for tuition, textbooks, uniforms and supplies, rent, food and other necessities.
