The Los Angeles City College Men's Basketball Team reached a historical landmark during the 2006-07 season when it captured its 14th straight North Division South Coast Conference Championship. No other program in college basketball history has ever won as many consecutive Conference championships on any level or with any sanctioning body including the NCAA, NAIA, NJCAA, or California's Commission on Athletics (COA). The Board of Trustees for the Los Angeles Community College District (LACCD) today announced it has appointed Angela J. Reddock to fill the seat vacated by Trustee Michael Waxman, who resigned from the elected office earlier this year. Reddock's term will expire on June 30, 2009. Read more...

The Los Angeles City College Swap Meet consists of 200 spaces and has been open for almost four years. Over 250,000 customers attend the event each year. The Swap Meet is a benefit to the community as a place to purchase commodities at reduced prices as well as a place to meet and socialize.
