First Lady of Los Angeles at LACC

  On May 17 2017, the John Burton Advocates For Youth (JBAY) Graduation Celebration was held at LACC to acknowledge and celebrate current and former youth who have earned an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree, or have completed a certificate program during the 2016-17 school year. In light of her personal experiences with foster care, the First Lady of Los Angeles Amy Wakefield was invited to be a guest speaker.
