Spring 23′ Scholarship Ceremony: Celebrating student success

LACC Foundation awards over 200 students with scholarships and awards

On May 15, 2023, the LACC Foundation hosted their Spring 2023 Scholarship Ceremony at the LACC Student Union Multipurpose room. This special event brought together students, donors, supporters, faculty, staff and friends to celebrate the accomplishments of over 200 students who received scholarships and awards.

During the Spring semester, LACC students were given the opportunity to apply for scholarships that ranged from $250 to $1,000. These scholarships were designed to alleviate some of the financial burdens that students often face while pursuing their educational goals. By offering financial support, the LACC Foundation aimed to empower students to focus on their studies and strive for academic excellence.

The ceremony provided a valuable opportunity for the recipients to be recognized for their hard work and dedication. Moreover, it allowed them to connect with the broader LACC community, fostering a sense of belonging and support.

LACC Foundation Scholarships are made possible by generous and devoted emeriti, alumni and community partners. Without their commitment to providing opportunities for higher education, LACC students would not be able to pursue their dreams.
