Registered Nursing Program Celebrates its Ten-Year Anniversary

June 2014 marks the ten-year anniversary of the Los Angeles City College Registered Nursing Program. In all, 16 cohorts of students have graduated — adding 423 registered nurses to the health care community!

In celebration of its ten-year anniversary, the program has created A Nurse’s Mission, its first alumni-to-student scholarship program with funds donated from Frances Rice-Farrand, LACC educator, and Camille Diaz, 2004 Class President.

Nursing professionals make a difference in the lives of patients every day. Now you have the ability to support the next generation of LACC nurses! Your tax-deductible gift of $25, $35, $50 or more can make a difference in the lives of students who are struggling to pay for tuition, textbooks, uniforms and supplies, rent, food and other necessities.

The Registered Nursing Program will reveal the results of this appeal at their Spring 2014 Pinning Ceremony. Please save the date!
