The Los Angeles City College Gala, celebrating the 90th Anniversary of LACC, took place on Tuesday, March 12 at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel. November 1st Event: President Mary Gallagher Induction and Donor Wall Unveiling

The induction of President Mary Gallagher was held in the Student Union Building on November 1, 2018. We celebrated LACC’s 17th president with food, drinks, photo stations, and music performed by the Herb Alpert Music Center Jazz Band. At the event, the LACC Foundation staff unveiled its first ever donor wall to recognize the generosity of our donors. Food for Thought: Pop-up Food Pantry at LACC

Every Monday at 11:00 am, LACC will be giving out free food to students as part of our Food for Thought Project. The pop-up food pantry will take place in front of the Student Union.  Students: Bring your reusable grocery bags and student ID to pick up food. Food available may include fresh fruit and vegetables, snacks, dry food, beverages, and more. We estimate having enough supplies to assist 2,500 households. Welcome LACC’s Interim President, Dr. Mary Gallagher

Dr. Gallagher, who served as the Vice President of Administrative Services at Los Angeles Trade-Technical College (LATTC), assumed her new role effective January 2, 2018. Her appointment comes on the heels of Reneé D. Martinez’s retirement as LACC president in December 2017.
