LACC Wins National Math Competition

Every year LACC’s math club students participate in a two-round mathematics competition sponsored by the American Mathematical Association of Two Year Colleges (AATYC). The competition was founded in 1970 and today includes over 200 colleges in the United States, Canada, and Bermuda with over 12,000 competitors. Alumnus Donates LACC’s First Piece of Public Art

LACC alumnus Steve Lebowitz ’60, along with his wife, Debi, have donated a 20-foot-tall kinetic sculpture to Los Angeles City College, which was erected in LACC’s main quad on December 6th.
